This “Traditional Cistus” is the most potently aromatic specimen I have experienced in over a decade. If you love deep and resinous scents you simply must try this! Cistus is a wonderful addition to a lymph drainage massage blend, and, in a warm compress, is said to be an effective treatment for swollen lymph glands. For abdominal pains caused by cold, cystitis, or painful menses, a sitz bath with a blend of Cistus and Sweet Marjoram may provide relief. Skin care: blend with German Chamomile CO2 to treat chronic slow-healing skin disorders like psoriasis, eczema, infected and inflamed skin conditions of all sorts. Rich, warm and spicy in aroma, Cistus has been used emotionally to warm what is frozen, a wonderful oil for those who have been traumatized or suffer from a dramatic loss. Cistus is considered one of the ancient spiritual oils with a history of being used in incense as an aid to meditation and centering. Many authorities believe that Cistus is the “Rose of Sharon” mentioned in the bible. One knowledgeable friend recommends it as an aid in astral projection; I believe she blends it with Spikenard, to ground her body, and applies a drop of the blend to the third eye. We also offer Labdanum Absolute, which is basically, solvent-extracted Cistus. If you are a fan of Cistus, it’s worth your while to take a look at the Labdanum. See also our Cistus Hydrosol —great for mature skin! Certificate of Analysis: Jun 2104 Batch No. SP-17090 Batch No. SP-20408 Batch No. SP-0018205 Batch No. SP-23542 Batch No. SP-59054 Batch No. ES-59311 Batch No. ES-59478 (Current Batch) BLENDS WITH: Bergamot, Chamomile, Clary Sage, Cypress, Helichrysum, Juniper, Lavender, Orange, Patchouli, Pine, Sandalwood, Vetiver. Cistus ladanifer, wildcrafted, steam-distilled by the traditional “open fire” method, Spain. The most aromatically intense Cistus I’ve experienced in over a decade. Distilled from the resinous leaves •Deep, resinous, rich, warm, spicy •Lymph massage, Swollen glands •Chronic Skin conditions, psoriasis •Meditation, Centering, Prayer

Evidence gap

Original analytical report status needs confirmation

These source documents are saved, but their status as original laboratory reports is unconfirmed or they are publisher summaries. They remain outside historical anomaly conclusions.

Evidence gap

Chemical extraction needs review

Automatically extracted figures are visible for inspection. They are excluded from historical anomaly conclusions until the extraction is reviewed.

Evidence gap

Comparison context is incomplete

Missing or unconfirmed: plant part, origin, analysis method, exact analysis date, extraction method, batch, percentage basis. Unknown values are not assumed to match known values.

Evidence gap

Repeated constituent identity needs checking

More than one extracted row identifies the same constituent. Its percentage is withheld from the comparison until the source rows are resolved.

Evidence gap

Source extraction has review notes

The source includes reproduction restrictions; the archived original remains private. Additional source extraction notes require review against the original document.

Evidence gap

Source extraction has review notes

The percentage measurement basis requires confirmation. Additional source extraction notes require review against the original document.

Evidence gap

Numerical comparison is not supported for this report

The source extraction identifies mixed or multiple assays. A single comparable measurement series has not been established.

Evidence gap

Repeated constituent identity needs checking

More than one extracted row identifies the same constituent. Its percentage is withheld from the comparison until the source rows are resolved.

Investigate

Extracted percentages exceed 100%

The quantified total is 253.11%. Check for repeated peaks, mixed tables, or a transcription problem before using these values.

Evidence gap

Source extraction has review notes

Some source peak rows could not be fully verified or quantified. Multiple assay columns or mixed tables require separate review. The source includes reproduction restrictions; the archived original remains private. Some source peaks overlap or combine constituents; independent percentages may not be available. Additional source extraction notes require review against the original document.

Evidence gap

Numerical comparison is not supported for this report

The source describes the analysis as qualitative. Its listed figures remain visible, but are excluded from numerical historical anomaly conclusions.

Evidence gap

Source extraction has review notes

The source describes a qualitative GC/MS analysis; these figures are not validated mass fractions. The source includes reproduction restrictions; the archived original remains private. A source date requires review against the original document. Additional source extraction notes require review against the original document.

Evidence gap

Not enough comparable history to assess differences

A range requires at least three earlier, reviewed original reports with the same botanical, chemotype, origin, plant part, extraction, analysis method, percentage basis and storage context. Missing and trace values are never replaced with zero.
