Cinnamon leaf essential oil smells like a cinnamon stick—sweet, spicy, and woodsy! Its bold presence inspires motivation and energy. While people tend to love cinnamon leaf’s scent, germs don’t! Use it to clean surfaces or purify the air to help protect immunity. Cinnamon leaf is rich in eugenol (also found in clove bud oil), which gives it a warm, spicy touch. Our unsprayed cinnamon leaf essential oil is steam distilled from the fresh leaves of wild Ceylon cinnamon trees in the forests of Madagascar. Please note: Cinnamomum verum and Cinnamomum zeylanicum refer to the same plant, with the former being the more current name. The term Cinnamomum zeylanicum is an older designation on labels that is being phased out in favor of Cinnamomum verum.
