Back by popular demand - our wild Benzoin in organic Castor. This version was earlier discontinued and replaced by the new organic Benzoin in MCT. But due to its popularity we have decided to offer it again as part of our extensive range. Botanical Name - Styrax benzoin & r icinus communis Aroma - Sweet vanilla Extraction Method - Resin is released from the tree when the bark is incised. Pure Benzoin is a solid resin at room temperature therefore it is gently heated and combined with organic Castor Seed Oil (ricinus communis) to render it more mobile. The concentration is 80% Castor to 20% Benzoin. We find this a much nicer and much more natural alternative to the commonly available Benzoin/Propylene glycol option. Part of Plant - Tree resin Country of Origin - Indonesia Chemical Constituents - Coniferyl benzoate, benzoic acid, benzyl benzoate Uses - Soothing and warming. Benzoin helps soften and moisturise dry, chapped and hard skin. It can help to form a protective layer on the skin\

LEARN AS YOU COMPARE

What’s inside this oil?

Constituents are the natural chemicals that give an oil its character. See the main ones, learn what they do, and explore differences between batches.

We need a measured report for this bottle.

No usable, product-linked composition report is available here. A general oil profile cannot tell us the percentages in this bottle.

Not enough comparable history to assess differences

A range requires at least three earlier, reviewed original reports with the same botanical, chemotype, origin, plant part, extraction, analysis method, percentage basis and storage context. Missing and trace values are never replaced with zero.
