More intensely aromatic than the sweet orange we are familiar with, Blood Orange Oil adds a sparkling citrus note to blends. Therapeutically, it is very similar to Sweet Orange in its uses, although one source does say it is the most antidepressant of the citrus oils. Elizabeth Zaffarano recently wrote: I ordered that blood orange and I LOVE IT! It has that bit of tang that blood oranges have over regular oranges. Favorite oil at the moment, and really great w/ rosewood, and a little patchouli in the bath. We have several therapist clients who swear by Blood Orange as an anti-depressant. It is the one I recommend when a friend is truly stuck in the doldrums, the “I just can’t get out of bed and face the day” doldrums. Sometimes Pink Grapefruit’s energizing power is called for, but often the gentle power of Blood Orange gives us a whole new lease on life. We realize that severe depression is a serious medical condition and urge those suffering from it to seek appropriate medical help. These powerful oils can make the journey a bit easier. SHELF LIFE: Approximately 1 to 2 years after you open the bottle. Storing in the dark, refrigerated, and decanting half full bottles into smaller, full bottles will extend shelf life. Certificate of Analysis: Batch No. IT-58568 Batch No. IT-58622 Batch No. IT-58746 Batch No. IT-59119 Batch No. FR-59442 (Current Batch) Citrus sinensis, conventionally farmed, cold-pressed rind, France. – Powerful anti-depressant – Intensely aromatic

Evidence gap

Original analytical report status needs confirmation

These source documents are saved, but their status as original laboratory reports is unconfirmed or they are publisher summaries. They remain outside historical anomaly conclusions.

Evidence gap

Chemical extraction needs review

Automatically extracted figures are visible for inspection. They are excluded from historical anomaly conclusions until the extraction is reviewed.

Evidence gap

Comparison context is incomplete

Missing or unconfirmed: plant part, extraction method, origin, analysis method, batch, exact analysis date. Unknown values are not assumed to match known values.

Evidence gap

Numerical comparison is not supported for this report

The source describes the analysis as qualitative. Its listed figures remain visible, but are excluded from numerical historical anomaly conclusions.

Evidence gap

Source extraction has review notes

The source describes a qualitative GC/MS analysis; these figures are not validated mass fractions. The source includes reproduction restrictions; the archived original remains private. Additional source extraction notes require review against the original document.

Evidence gap

Not enough comparable history to assess differences

A range requires at least three earlier, reviewed original reports with the same botanical, chemotype, origin, plant part, extraction, analysis method, percentage basis and storage context. Missing and trace values are never replaced with zero.
